Today was Molly’s last day at Liss before she flies back to Uganda tomorrow. She had another busy day starting with a lesson about bees in Class AS before going on a tour of Liss Infant School. After break she helped Mr Stanley teach a lesson about mongooses in Class KR. This afternoon she gave a presentation in Class JA and taught the children how to count in Runyankore Rukiga before Mr Stanley filmed her pronouncing all of the words that the children hope to learn this year.
Molly even managed to find time to learn how to play chess at afternoon playtime and tasted some pizza from cookery club.
Everyone is really sad to see Molly go home, but we wish her a safe journey back to Kafuro and hope to see her in the UK again soon.
