Competition Winner

Congratulations to Jake B in Pine Class, this year’s winner of the children’s best question competition. Jake’s question was all about what sorts of things the children at Kafuro Primary School would cook in their new cob oven. The answer was all sorts of different breads. Jake is the winner of a Uganda Cranes football shirt. Ugandan football is on a high at the moment as they have qualified for the African Cup of Nations for the first time in 37 years! As you can imagine, there is tremendous excitement about this in Uganda.

It is also highly likely that Liss pupils and parents will be able to see Uganda play next year as the AFCON games are usually shown live on British TV.

Do they have pets in Uganda? If they do, what kind?
