Latest news from Kafuro and Liss

It is holiday time in Liss and will soon be a four week holiday at Kafuro. However, the communication never stops so here is some of the latest news:

The bees are beginning to flourish again as spring sunshine and warm temperatures have arrived. Mr Stanley visited the hives yesterday and there was plenty of activity as the bees are now increasing in numbers after the winter and foraging for food.

Yowasi has sent the data for water usage from Kafuro. Mr Stanley will compile this data and publish the results in the next couple of weeks.

The children at Kafuro have been enjoying watching the oral stories created by Liss children. They will feedback over the coming weeks on the blog.

The children have also made a front door for the cultural museum at Kafuro. This was made from reeds and banana leaves.
