Busy Busy Bees

Our Bees have been hard at work again. Mr Haycock let us have a look at one of the frames to see what amazing work the bees have done. Once again, we could look at the incredible, perfectly formed hexagonal honeycomb they have made. Also another opportunity to taste the natural honey – yum!

We noticed that the spaces in the honeycomb were filled with different colours. Billy knew exactly why this was – These colours are the different coloured pollen the bees have been collecting from the plants they have visited. How amazing is that?!
